This connects to WhatsApp Web using the browser automation library whatsapp-web.js. Keep this server running and the linked phone online for scheduled messages to send reliably.
Scheduled messages
A daily job checks for patients whose visit was 3 days ago (sends a feedback request) or 3 months ago (sends a followup asking about their condition and any problems since treatment). Each patient is only messaged once per stage.
This uses an unofficial WhatsApp automation method, which is against WhatsApp's Terms of Service and carries a risk of the linked phone number being restricted. Consider the official WhatsApp Cloud API for higher-volume or long-term use.
